چکیده

Abstract To research the improvements of clinical imaging human tissues, tissue-equivalent materials are one reasonable strategies for evaluating impact radiation dosages on tissues. Hence, considering mass and linear attenuation coefficients is a promising method to foresee appropriate tissue-identical material. In this examination, we utilise built-up estimations elemental compositions (mass portion every component) PMMA material by numerous analyses in literature. XCOM program was utilised figure various photon energies (0.015–2.0) MeV. The outcomes reveal that high as begin decrease diminish gradually with an expansion energies. Making sensible coordinating between lung, brain, muscle blood tissues has demonstrated phenomenal match.

Examination of Jeltrate®Plus as a tissue equivalent bolus material

A product available commercially for making dental impressions, Jeltrate Plus, was evaluated as a tissue equivalent bolus material. Jeltrate Plus was found to be tissue equivalent in 6 and 15 MV photon energy beams and 6, 12, and 20 MeV electron energy beams. As a first step, different preparations for making the bolus material were investigated and an optimal mixture was determined to be two p...
